Halloween was so different when I was a kid from what it is now. We'd stay out for hours going from house to house and going home to empty the bag if necessary. I haven't lived in the City since '79 so I don't know how it's changed down there, but up here, we don't gut any visitors any more.

Not that we ever got many, but now there are businesses and the college offering activities for the kids after school. It's raining tonight, so that would have put a damper on it anyway, but there have been no signs of life on the highway.

Anyway, I had no intention of posting about Halloween or getting involved in it in any way until I got an invitation to enter a photo contest sponsored by the local phone company. My photo for Christmas won and when I looked at the number of entries for Halloween last night I found that there was only 1.

With three categories and one entry I figured I've have a good shot at a gift certificate if I could come up with a good cheap idea using stuff I have at home. So I watched a few hours of youtubes last night and came up with this.... Twenty-five bucks is 25 bucks.
