She has an island garden in the curve of the semi-circle driveway.

Directly in front of the house was nearly bare. A half-dead hemlock lurked on the left corner, and as you can see there were no shrubs for about 10 feet in the front. Until I cut it down, there was a dead weeping cherry just to the left of the front door.

Although you can't see it, I trimmed the red maple on the right side of the door so it's more symmetrical.
The neighbors love it.
