In the real world, there are boundaries, and it is often illegal and sometimes immoral to cross them. Every person is entitled to their privacy, and none of these women gave their consent to be viewed in various stages of undress. Stereotyping women as sex objects "using their assets" isn't cool either. Oh, and that wasn't ingenuity. It was probably a felony installing those hidden cameras.
Happy Birthday Derek Michael.
Very good points. Our entire economy is in the toilet because of corporate greed. It's too bad that more companies don't follow the Ben and Jerry's principle, where the highest paid employee makes no more than than four times the lowest paid employee.
I love Maya Angelou. She is so wise.
I am really happy for Kota and for you. I guess we got to remember that every cloud has a silver lining.
Very nice, Grumpy. We all know there's a teddy bear under that grizzly exterior.
We've already had snow and ice, enough to cause a few problems on the roads. I am certain there is much more to come, for you and for me!
I appreciate the "truth teller" revealing all three, because I really wasn't certain who the third is. I am not familiar with that third person, but because I mentioned it I am sure this may bring another firestorm from persons number one and two, even though I'm not "bashing" anyone. Oh, by the way, we are ALL dying. This started from the moment we took our first breath. It is the smile on your face in those pictures that show you are LIVING. And living richly, my friend.
I'll check it out!
Too bad we couldn't find a central spot and meet for a nice buffet for Thanksgiving. Perhaps we should rally Capitol Hill for them to let the regular folk use the chartered planes that the Automaker Robbers have been using (instead of commercial airlines). Just an idea!
That was the way it was, and I don't recall being too unhappy with it!
I have always done my best to be respectful, factual, and considerate when making my comments and replies. When I have posted blogs to talk about what was going on, it was because I had a legitimate point and felt like I am free to do so here (and on Blogster too). I will not specify, but there is a blogger who has not been "almost intentionally hurting another person" but actually writing libelous vicious attacks on me because this person cannot agree to disagree agreeably. This blogger has gone so far as to violate the Terms of Service on this blog and I intend to make the management aware of this so that hopefully no other blogger will have to endure the defamation that I have had to. I do stand up to this, because I refuse to be bullied. I refuse to allow someone, anyone, to devalue me so publicly and so viciously. And I am seriously considering consulting an attorney because it is highly possible that because of this blogger's words my ability to obtain another teaching job could be in jeopardy. This is a serious matter, in my opinion. As for other disputes between bloggers I will not comment further. I do believe that if the other situations are left alone for good then there will be no more conflict. As for "lies", people will continue to tell them, whether the "truth" is told or not. As for proof of allegations, I think that Holly (mmmhollywould) said it best when she stated that "...silence is not an admission of guilt..." or something to that effect. I appreciate your post and your concern. And I appreciate the opportunity to make my comments in an agreeable and considerate way. I think that that is how it should be, ideally.
I guess we will wait for this one to come out on DVD and check it out from the library - for free!
We love your badness, Nena. I hope that you will be feeling better soon. Take care of yourself.
