Sorry Dude. I watched as the century old place I grew up in was torn down to make way for suburbia - I cried - I loved that old farmhouse! But nobody can tear down my memories . . . Glad to hear that there was no loss of life in the fire

I'll admit that I enjoy an "E-life" but nothing will replace people with skin on their faces, books, & a real birthday cake with candles on it
I always keep my tiny Christmas tree up until January 7th - however, it cheers me up so much I just might leave it up longer . . . .

Yes, I remember receiving several seed catalogs in the mail this time of year too - back in the day when I did a lot of flower & veg gardening. The only problem I had was; how come the seeds I bought & what they produced never came close to looking as beautiful as in the frickin' catalogs?? Other than that, I spent many happy hours this time of year just flipping through each page & dreaming . . . .

Living in a democracy everyone is supposed to have the right to worship, pray & celebrate according to their beliefs. Christmastime is a celebration of the birth of Christ & that time is considered by Christians to be a Holyday not just a Holiday.
