You're a riot I'm sure you'll think up something to send your friends as a keepsake. Did you ever consider having a "cheescake" picture of yourself on a white bearskin rug, you with only a Santa hat on, taken? You could make your own cards with this on the front! Now THAT'S something folks will remember . . .
The need for "instant gratification" will gettcha everytime! There's a pricetag on EVERYTHING . . .
I've severely cut back on Christmas card sending for several reasons. If after 10 years you don't ever get a card back from someone, like duh! Plus, I'm finding the cost of greeting cards & postage a little rich for my pocketbook. Don't think I should have to consider raising a small 2nd mortgage on the house to cover Christmas expenses . . . bah humbug!!
I'm very thankful for my children - they're my best friends, just lov'em
my shopping is almost done - already have the few Christmas cards I'm sending ready to mail on the kitchen table - I might bring out the small lighted tree this weekend - the outside lights have been on every night for the past few days - I'm all good so far xxx
rat bastards!! (pardon me) that's lower than low . . .
Randy, sorry but I really hope your Grandma was wrong about the 29 more snowfalls. Bless her heart. Guess we'll just have takes what comes, right?
DUDE!! How the hell are ya??? Long time no connect!! Hope you're well. And, in answer to your question, no. I live in the Ottawa Valley on the Canadian Shield (very rocky, hilly, hilly & rocky)Stay close amigo
I'm having a bugger of a time trying to remember how this "comment" thing works!! It keeps asking me to login, I do, & it doesn't make a damned difference. How can I respond to all my fans??? This is most frustrating!!! Anyway, thanks all for returning to the fold of Blogsterella xxx
I must make a point of reading "coincutters" blog on this subject. I'm very opinionated about this. It's illegal in Canada - growing, selling and using - except for governmentally approved medicinal purposes. What really puzzles me is why not the same hype about alcohol?? In Canada we have Liquor Control Boards in each province and special stores selling wine & booze only. You can't buy the stuff at grocery stores, 7-11's or little shops like in the States. Our government figures it has "control" over the sale of it and is cleaning up on taxing what we buy. Until our country has figured out how to do the same with sale of weed, it'll remain illegal. Personally, I believe the use of marijuana is the same as the use of alcohol. Both should be used in moderation and with respect & care.
I think we ALL could use a little "Summer Breeze" right now
It brings me a lot of joy & satisfaction when you folks appreciate what I post here. If I can influence just one person - in a positive light - I feel I've accomplished something worthwhile . . .
