Good grief! Did my parents ever have rules! I had to be home by 11:00 on the dot. No excuses. I was only late once, and OMG, did I ever hear about it--for days. They also banned me from seeing one boyfriend, which only made me more creative in finding ways to see him. Oh dear, Elf...I could go on and on. It's all funny now, though. On the other hand, when my girls started dating, I was very nice to the young men. However, we've been burned a couple of times by young men who weren't necessarily respectful of our daughter or our family, and we've had to alter our policies. I am now very stern with these guys the first time I meet them, generally calling them "boy" at least once, and telling them exactly how I expect them to conduct themselves. I hope someday that my daughters will laugh about it.
Hey, Jeri! It's great to see you here!
God bless you, James. I don't know how you do it. A few months ago, we were in the ER with our daughter. The entire staff was wonderful to my husband and me, and they took excellent care of our daughter. They truly were angels. There's no way that you all can be getting paid enough for what you do.
Congratulations to you, and happy birthday to Dakota!
Simply lovely, Jon.
Hi, Chris! I'm enjoying catching up with you and the rest of my online friends. I'm glad things are going well for you.
Go for it!!!!
Love the post, K! Last month, I was at my last cake decorating class. I'd just finished my cake and was talking to the instructor about knitting and crocheting, and I said, "I just wish to hell that I could spend my days doing this kind of stuff instead of doing what I do everyday." It makes me wonder why I'm spending my days the way I do.
I already like this place better, though. More peaceful, maybe?
Hey, Strider! Hope you're doing well!
Sounds like a fun weekend! I had a major hairstyle change back before Christmas. It looked great when I left the shop, but it took a little practice to get it back in shape the next day. Now it's a breeze. Hope you're doing well!
Every year, I enjoy winter less and less. We thawed out from the ice and now we're getting more snow. I'm ready for it to be over, too.
Hi, Holly! I've missed you!!! About the post--well, all I can think of is...damn. Hopefully, he won't be assigned community service with the Humane Society.
Love the rant! Hope you're doing well, Jon! I've missed you and all my online friends.
