This is not a tag game, but feel free to find and "fess" up 10 weird things about yourself.

Here's my list....I dont know if the stuff I've listed is weird or not, but I've been told I'm weird on some of them...lol.

1)  I think the weirdest thing about me  relates to food. I love trying all sorts of food. The weirdest thing I can think of that I do is I love to eat porridge with crispy bits of bacon tossed through. Yep, that's porridge with milk and sugar or honey, mixed with crispy fried bacon.

The other thing is I love eating banana with everything....banana with Spaghetti bolognese, banana with curry.....banana with chilli con carne...banana with roast dinner...love dipping it in the gravy. Banana goes with anything and everything savory.

2) I dont know if it is weird but I  only eat one meal a day. I have never liked breakfast, if I eat first thing in the morning it makes me feel nauseous everytime. Morning sickness with a difference.....not pregnant.

The only time I will try breakfast is when I'm away on a holiday somewhere and I go down to breakfast at the hotel.....I ask for porridge with crispy bacon but they ALWAYS put the bacon on the side. If I ask them to mix it into the porridge, they think I'm really weird!!!  If I eat lunch I dont have dinner and vice versa so my one meal a day is either lunch or dinner.

3)  I have a "weird" problem with my ears. They are perfectly normal ears but for some reason they are completely untouchable. If anyone touches my ears, the hairs in my arms stand on end. No, I dont have hairy arms... we all have really tiny hairs on our arms. It makes it very difficult to go to the salon for a hair cut. When the hairdresser washes my hair, I have to ask him/her  please not touch my ears and I lie there on the chair while my hair is being washed, gripping the arms for grim death!!! 

The same when my hair is being cut, I have to ask the hairdresser not to touch my ears. It is not a painful sensation but it is a really creepy one and I hate it.  I am the only one who can touch my ears without getting this sensation.  By the way...I have really long hair....weird, huh??

4)  I have travelled around for most of my adult life and yet I absolutely, totally hate flying. Getting on a plane is a nightmare for me every single time. I am always the last one on board (final boarding call over the PA system looking for me is a familiar occurrence when I'm travelling somewhere, I leave it to the very last minute, just before they close the doors.)

Last one on, first one off.

When I flew from Sydney to Los Angeles....a very looooong flight, I knocked myself out with valium...slept the whole way and have no recollection whatsoever of LAX, going through Immigration/Customs...collecting my luggage...and the ride to the hotel. Lucky I had friends with me who "carried" me all the way...lol.

5)  People say my affinity for animals borders on weird. I live, breath, sleep, dream about animals. I love them way too much. Everything to do with animals is not just a passion, but an obsession. I cant go home to Australia for good because I have animals I wont abandon in Jakarta. My favorite TV channel is Animal Planet and my favorite movies are always about animals or animal cartoons. I obsess about animal rights and animal welfare.

6)  I dont know if this is considered weird but I love to challenge myself to do impossible things. I get obsessed with fixing anything that is unfixable, doing something that is un-do-able and doing things people say I shouldnt do. Every time I tell someone, I get the usual..."You're weird".

7)  I absolutely refuse to buy or pay for anything on-line. I have a problem with trust when giving out my credit card details on-line. I have never, ever purchased anything from e-bay. Is this weird? 

8) I get sea-sick in a bath tub. One of the most romantic experiences I ever had turned into the most embarrassing and disgusting.

When my hubby and I were dating, he arranged a very romantic evening in a jacuzzi. Champagne, scented candles, yummy plate of exquisite food like lobster medallions, giant shrimp, asparagus, olives, the best cheeses, grapes, and an awesome pate served on oven toasted wedges of pita bread.
The water was too hot, the scented candles were making me dizzy, I started to feel sick from the movement in the water and before I knew it, I threw up. It was horrible...and weird.

9) I never wanted to learn anything about computers. And I still dont know much except from problems I've stumbled across in the last 7 years. The internet is very new to me and I'm always wary of surfing websites. In this day and age, many consider that weird...I dont...lol.

10) My favorites in movies and music belie my age. People think I'm much older than what I am because I prefer movies and music my mother loved. I dont like loud noisy "music" and I prefer anything and everything about the 1950's...I think I might have been around back then as someone else. I wish sometimes I lived my adult years back then.

so, to some people I guess I am weird, but to me, myself and I?

NOPE!!!!

I'm perfectly NORMAL!!!
