Voting in Oregon

No lines... no driving to the polling place... just sit down with my cup of coffee beside my warm fire and fill in the bubbles and I have voted. What can be easier than that?

This morning, I have done my duty as a US citizen and exercised my right to vote. Of course... it was for McCain/Palin!!!!! Sadly, there were many local offices that only had one candidate. I hate it when there isn't a choice. I guess not many people want to run for office in Klamath County. :o(

I've also paid the summer pasture bill which leaves me with no money in the bank. JR is back to trucking, but it will be a couple of weeks before I see any money. Guess the bill collectors will just have to be patient with me.

Okay... now I'm off to the Post Office.

Later Gators - Annie :o)

p.s. If ya drop by... at least say Howdy... even if you aren't a McCain/Palin fan.

I early voted Saturday, and I'm glad it's done.

At least 60% of our county is voting by mail and the authorities have started whining about how it is going to slow things down if they don't mail them in early enough.

Yes I heard all about the way Oregon votes...I must say I like the idea. My hubby's ex was in town & told us over & over & over & over & over again about how Oregon votes. LOL

of course you wrote my name in too, right?. They have early voting here but I guess I'll wait for the 4th. Hopefully the machines will not screw up and change people's votes.

Is this like Chicago? Vote early, vote often, using a different name on all 100 ballots????

That is so nice.Yes,they will be long lines at the polls.
They are expecting a huge turn out. Many of them have not voted for years.
Good luck with your choice.

I think it is great that you can vote early. It definitely makes things easier when you can do that. I don't think we have that option here in RI unless you need to for absentee/health issues.
I will have to wait one week to vote. And I will get to vote for myself!
