It's Sunday and X Equals 3

When JR came home on Friday, he brought a surprise with him. He brought his grandson, Chance. As JR was driving through Northern California, his cell phone rang and it was Chance's mom. She had just passed JR on the freeway as they headed home from Disneyland. So, they all stopped at a truck stop and Chance loaded his stuff in with Papa JR and now he is here with us.

The only problem and it is a big problem... he has lots of homework. We are currently working on beginning algebra which is a subject Chance isn't grasping. And Grandma Annie is turning even more grey trying to teach him. I think the cartoon pretty much sums up the situation here. AAaaaauugh!!!!

Well... back to the books.

It's great that you can have JR and Chance home.

That is great. I am sure you guys are love having him with you.
Algebra is a very different beast. I help the middle schoolers with it in the afternoon, and we struggle a bit because they teach the whole thing differently now. No more FOIL (First, Outside, Inside, Last) method.
