We haven't had any new snow lately except for a small flake now and then that falls down from the ski as if it just remembered it was suppose to fall even though its friends proceeded it weeks ago. But, the temperatures have remain cold and so we have plenty of snow still piled on the ground. What has melted has refrozen to ice and now I feel like I am living on a glacier. I guess I would call our weather "bleak." Yep... that is the word for it.
JR is heading to Texas and I hear that he will be getting into snow. That just seems weird as usually at this time of year, a trip to Texas means short sleeves for him. I do hope things warm up before the end of the month when we are all scheduled to attend a benefit concert in Louisville, Kentucky for our Grandson Chance. It is an outdoor event and so we do need good weather. There will also be an auction, a chili cook-off, and a poker run. It's a very big event put on by some of our dear friends in the trucking industry. We are feeling excited and very blessed.
Chance is home right now between Chemo treatments. He goes to Portland next week for another treatment. Since the treatments are more aggressive now, he is getting more sick with them. But... he is a trooper and keeping a good attitude. Thank you to all my friends who have shown support for him.
Well... on with my day.
