Reminds me of the time we spent in Oregon and I used to love seeing the horses, deer, and cows. Those are all really great pictures. I've never seen a cow with hair over its eyes.

Brings back memories . . .they have beef cattle around here but where I grew up they had dairy cattle. Me and my friends used to pester the devil out of them; coaxing them to the electrified fences and kill ourselves laughing when they'd touch the fences and bolt away, bawling - terrible wasn't I? And the farmers really used to get mad at us for feeding them ripe apples in the fall - it would sour their milk so they said. Yeah, those were the good old days!!

Those are Highland cattle, originally from Scotland. They have long reddish hair. People raise them around where I live.
