There is 10 inches on the ground. But the highways are mostly clear. They will dry up today, and we'll see increasingly warm weather until next Sunday when the high temperature will be 70 degrees.

Beauty sometimes is momentary, like the thing captured in a photograph, only there for an instant, then changed and forgotten- except for the camera.

I love the look of your snow, but I am worried about the long-term effects of odd weather.

I know what you mean. We had a similar storm last year, but I was in Oklahoma visiting Jeri at the time.

And, it is in the high eighties here! Is snow this late common?

Yes, seems like we've had a May snowstorm (maybe not 10 inches, more like 5 or so) each of the past 4 years, if not more.

And here we are suffering in the low 80s, tons of sun and an ocean breeze!!!

Rainy season starts in 2 weeks and we need rain but then it is hurricane season--hope our luck holds out!

Wishing you lots of weather luck. I've been so caught up in my own problems, tornado season in the midwest has snuck up on me and now you say hurricane.
