Canadian Border

I don't think I've shared my pictures of when I crossed into Canada at the end of February.

Driving north on I-5:

There's this cute little house looking structure right there at the crossing, very homey. It's probably some administrative offices:

I haven't ever crossed a border via car. I should do that some day.

Eh? Nice trip. Rain and Vancouver are synonymous, but it was always one of my favorite places, that and Victoria.

It was raining really hard at the airport at Bellingham, WA both times I was there, and very little in Vancouver, but cloudy. It was fun visiting my relatives there.

I would like to go to Canada. It looks wonderfully green and pretty.

It's easy to get around there, and many of the same vendors we have, so not a lot of culture shock.

If it wasn't for the last picture I would have thought you were going into Tijuana!!!!

One big difference is there are no vendors walking up to your car on the Canadian border like there are at the Mexican borders.

I've never been to Canada. The closest I've come is northern Michigan & New Hampshire.

There's places in the Detroit area where you go north to get into the US and south to get into Canada. Not that I want to go to Detroit any time soon to check it out.

Yes, cute little house. Have been to Canada in the 60s, went up the Cabot trail with Jay. We had a quiet but lovely time.

The border was made to be all open and easy to pass through, not quite up to today's high security standards. There is more security at the airport these days.

Oh yes. I recognized Canada right away.
