What's in the Camera: February Edition

Heart Attack Grill here in Las Vegas: one of the customers who ate there every day (one of their famous burgers has 9,982 calories) is literally at death's door. He had a massive heart attack four days ago, and is now on life support. His brother is agonizing over it, but plans to pull the plug on Monday. This sounds like a made-up story, but it's true.

I found a website where a man who does home inspections in Minnesota posts some of the bloopers he comes across in the course of his work.

I was watching a documentary, and there was this clown, just like one my mother made in the late 1940s. I still have it, and the pattern. It was such a surprise to see that someone else had one.

You will have to do some research and find out what they put on their burgers. I can't imagine one with almost l0,000 calories.

Four large beef patties, 8 oz each (most fast food patties are 3 - 4 oz), Mayonnaise, 8 slices of cheese (yellow and white American), large bun, lettuce, tomato, onion. Carl's Junior and other burger places ramp up the calories by adding fried onion rings.

That last pic is kinda scary... and eating a place called heart attack grill on a daily basis, well...

I'm kind of sorry I never went downtown to see that fat guy exhorting people to go into the Heart Attack Grill because he truly loved the place. I think I'd feel self-conscious going in there.

We have a version of the Heart Attack grill here but even I am smart enough NOT to eat that burger--we also have The Whole Enchilada franchise that offers something as ridiculous.

I wish people would leave Christie alone about his weight--he knows he is fat and he knows what to do but every time someone mentions it to him he goes on a binge--been there done that.

Okay I don't get the blooper thing--yes I realize the wall but what else???

Cutting into the wall like that is not good building technique because it opens the living area to whatever is crawling around inside the drywall. And unattractive.

Love it when you go exploring in the news and online....

It's fun to see what is going to strike our fancy on any given day. Hope you and the kitties are having a good weekend. I was so hopeful my place in Colorado would get some snow, and it looks like there has been just a skiff.

Send this story to Chris Christie. When it comes to self-indulgence, it is very difficult to get people to look at the down side. Most think they are immune. What is sad about this case, is he didn't just get a warning, he got the whole nine yards at once, no going back and fixing things.

That is an adorable clown.

It sounds like he had a death wish, something like Nicolas Cage in that movie Leaving Las Vegas. The clown was in a PBS documentary about the artist Wayne White, it's at his mama's house - she likes 'things.'

whoa!guess that he has not learned his lesson but enjoy what he was doing and this is what they get at the end.Cannot believe that this grill has not done anything to improved their food some. But greed is the word.

The whole idea of the Heart Attack Grill is to serve unhealthy (but tasty) food - the waitresses are dressed like nurses. That man loved the place: he stood out front and encouraged people to come in, not as an employee, just a satisfied customer.

Heart Attack Grill...only in America. Amazing!

I haven't been there, but there are probably half-joking signs all over the place about how the management isn't responsible for any heart attacks. His is the third event we know about. One was right there in restaurant, and one might not have been a heart attack, but it was health-related.
