I don't have a problem with that. I have friends that run the gamut of quite effeminate to quite butch. One of the guys on Partners, which you really didn't like, was actually quite butch. To put it simply, butch doesn't play funny. Thus, they don't really have a great role on sitcoms.
I am not sure why they are being allowed to leave the building. Talks shouldn't stop with an acceptance of failure no matter how "close" they are. The problem is there are no real consequences for their stubbornness.
Have a great New Year!
I think the argument is a bit challenged. The examples he is highlighting are all works of fiction that are defined by their nature to be entertaining. The fact that they are presenting the idea of same-sex parents in positive light is really what is important. I would like someone to point to a character on television that reflects this demographic group he or she is from in a way that reflects reality.
I think your children's book series sounds really interesting. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
I am so glad to hear that you are looking to get back into your painting. I know how rewarding you found it ... and I loved to look at the results!
Happy New Year!
This was a really interesting essay. Thanks for sharing it!
I am so sorry about your loss.
I hope it goes well!
I love the picture you got from Yahoo! Very festive, yet simple in its beauty. I have always been a big fan of Christmas. No ... it isn't because of the gifts. LOL! I just really enjoy opporutnities to get together with friends and family. It sounds like you had another great one! Merry Christmas!
As usual, great review, Martin!
SOunds like a very tarty dinner. I hope you both have a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones today!
Great news! I am so happy for you!
The pasta really does sound like it would be totally yummy! Thanks for sharing it with us. I am going to try and make it myself. I think it is great how you are so artistic. That picture of the sales racket is awesome!
You ended up being a lot more complimentary than I would have epected. I am not sure I want to see this one. It seems like a movie that I would want to see, but it doesn't call to me. I tend to like Streisand whether she is doing a really strong dramatic role or smaller comedica roles, like the ones she has in the Fockers movies.
I hope you made it through the storm OK. From the news this morning, it sounds like it was quite a doozy!
I remember the sigh of relief that always came about at the end of a semester, knowing that I was free for a few weeks! Now, I have to wait a little longer for that sigh since I have to do the grading of final projects (I don't do final exams). We usually run right into the holidays for that.
