You just have to read what this guy said. I think he needs a mental evaluation. What angers me the most is he is here in Colorado and the rest of the country is going to get the idea a bunch of nuts live here, stealing that condition from California.
"DENVER -- The man suspected of hiding in a portable toilet told 7NEWS that he was the one in the holding tank.
Luke Chrisco, 30, was arrested Thursday afternoon in Vail after driving away from a gas station where police said he had been panhandling.
Boulder police had been looking for Chrisco since last weekend, when a man ran from a portable toilet at a yoga festival after two people saw him in the holding tank of the toilet, with his head toward the toilet opening.
Chrisco told 7NEWS in a jailhouse interview that he was the one in the toilet but he wasn't dangerous.
"Just to look and not touch,†Chrisco said of his actions.
He said he used a tent to shield himself from prying eyes.
"I was covered up with the tent. I didn’t think anybody could see me,†he said.
Chrisco told 7NEWS, this was not his first try at spying and that bathrooms in Boulder became a prime spot.
"I was just basically trying to drill holes from the men’s side over to the women’s side and you know, find my million dollar view to heaven," he said. "I was doing it more out of a general spiritual desire to experience divinity and just find what I consider to be powerful experiences."
Chrisco said women don't have to worry about him.
"I don't believe I'm the violent kind of voyeur," he said.
The bizarre story has attracted national coverage since it first broke earlier in the week.
On Friday, TheSmokingGun.com reported that Chrisco is linked to a number of other pornographic or semi-pornographic websites, including some that feature videos of himself. The Boulder Daily Camera also found an additional YouTube video of a person confirmed by police as being Chrisco.
"That is the person that we arrested," Boulder police spokeswoman Kim Kobel said, according to the Daily Camera.
Chrisco faces charges in Boulder of unlawful sexual contact and criminal invasion of privacy. He is being held by the Vail Police Department on $1,000 bond for the Vail incident and $1,500 for the Boulder charges.
Chrisco's family said earlier they didn''t believe he was involved in the portable toilet incident in Boulder."
