Crochet in the Park

A long, long time ago I posted some pictures of knitted covers for trees and other outdoor fixtures. Here is a picture from today's Las Vegas Sun newspaper. The rails are on a pedestrian trail.

They may be practical. You know how hot metal gets in those temperatures.
I go outside barefoot and if it is hot, it burns my feet.

I hadn't thought of that, but it's so true with their 102 degree days and 90 degree nights there in Las Vegas.

I was thinking about that, too. It has been 102 or so in Las Vegas lately, and dry of course. I wonder how long it will be before these start to fade.
