Hello all. It is a beautiful, sunny day here in Houston. Blue Skies. 81 degrees.
I am doing very well, thank you.
Yesterday, we picked up M's puppy, Lilly. Lilly is an adorable, 5 week old Shih Tzu (however it is spelled). She was the pick of the litter. Amy and I had decided that M needed a puppy. So, like all absentee fathers, I solved that problem with my checkbook. M had been so excited, she was counting down the days. I, of course, reveled in the fact I was making my daughter happy, no matter the cost.
I received an interesting phone call on Friday. It was an old friend who I had dated for a while. He got a job he had always wanted as a flight attendant and moved to LA. Well, he has left LA and Continental and is now living in Detroit and working for NWA. He confessed that he missed me, wanted come visit me and wanted us to date. He would come to Houston whenever he could and would transfer here if I wanted. Amazing. I adore him. Always have. I had written of him often in the past back on my old blog. He is going to fly down on his next day off and we are going to see if the spark and chemistry is still there.
I have a new hero. I know he reads this. He knows who he is and why he is. I'll never tell though.
My gym routine is going well. I am going everyday in the evening and about half of the days in the mornings. I am on a low-carb, low calorie eating regimen that consists mostly of salads, some fish and the occasional grilled chicken breast. I haven't had a drink since Easter. Amazing.
I have a new Truck. I have an Expedition now. The car just had to go, it wasn't me.
I am going to buy Amy and J a Kitchen Aid Pro 600 mixer as a wedding present. We looked at them yesterday and they picked out the color they wanted. J is a great guy. He isn't my type. I guess he is Amy's though. But if he is, I don't see how I ever could've been.
I am also being sued. It is from my business that went bankrupt in 2004. Does anyone have an extra $176,000 laying around anywhere? I have to call my lawyer tomorrow. I gave a witness deposition on Friday and I was informed I was being added to the Suit and would I waive service. I did. I wasn't going to run. I offered them my golf clubs. That is the only thing in my name. They didn't find that amusing. Oh well, fuck-em with a stick. They can get in line behind the IRS. I owe them $240,000. Everyone wants a piece of me. No one but M is going to get shit.
That is about all for me for a while. I'm sure I'll post again soon but I just felt like updating.
Peace
