Changes in Attitudes, nothing remains quite the same.
I am amazed how much my life has changed in the last few weeks. I have become serious about this exercise thing. If I do not make it to the gym everyday, it ruins my day. i am even going twice on some days. It seems to be the best way to start my mornings.
I have quit drinking. I have not had a drink since Easter. I have had nothing fried. I have had very few carbs. My meals consist of salads, grilled chicken or fish. To date, I have lost 29 lbs.
It is amazing how much extra money I seem to have since I am not out every night. I mean, I wasn't poor, but now, it seems like I have lot's of extra spending money. I am going to take a trip out to California to see my mom for Mother's Day. What better gift than to get to see me!
Alex will be in Houston on Tuesday. It will great to see him. He has been on trips to New Your, Minneapolis, Portland, San Francisco and Nashvile.
The Astros have won two in a row. However, they still suck. They are still my team. I am still a fan. I went to the game last night. I sat on the Club Level just to the 1st base side of home plate. The seats were great. I didn't partake of any ballpark junk food. No peanuts, nachos, popcorn or hot dogs. I did have two bottles of water. I didn't think it was possible to watch a baseball game without drinking beer.
I ordered some shirts from Ralph Lauren. They arrived yesterday. They are very nice and they fit great. If the sale is till going on I may order a few more. I have always been something of a fashion plate. It is just hard to be fashionable in fat clothes. But all that is changing. I have dropped two sizes in my jeans so far. By the end of the year, I will be unrecognizable. The only thing is, I have been down this road before. I just need to keep it up and not become bored or lazy. I think having my friends working out too gives me motivation.
Anyway, I can't think of anything else right now.
Peace
One of my favorite.SHHHHHHHH Mike may hear me.
