My Morning Life

I got up early this morning (5:30), thinking to do all my exercises before Ed got up because after that, my chores kick in. But it was not to be. One of the wheels on the dish basket in the dishwasher had fallen off. It looked like there might be a part missing, so I removed the basket (another wheel fell off during this effort) and looked in the well for a missing part.

What I found was gross. There was food garbage, rubber bands, little thingies you rip off the milk bottle when you are opening it, and an Oneida fork that has been missing for two years. All of these tucked into the space under the blades. I had to dig all this out with bare hands. Ewww. Then I put the basket on the counter because, although it is not rocket science, I haven’t a clue how to reattach those little wheels so it’s a job for Super Husband.

Then, of course, Ed is up because he has an Ombudsman visit to deal with (checking out a nursing home) and needs his coffee. He put on Morning Joe and immediately I fell into a response trance and had to sit at the computer and write my opinions to the MSNBC mavens. In the den, I noticed that Ed’s office chair, a nice leather, lean-back job with arm rests, is dirty in a way that says “cat didn’t clean himself and sat on the seat” so I cleaned that off -- luckily it did not retain permanent damage. So here I am wasting more time talking to you guys about my travails.

Max is giving me more than the usual amount of trouble this morning because we are experiencing cold and high winds and his visits to the pool deck are not comfortable and he wants in. Then the little retard (with apologies to Sarah Palin and her challenged child) forgets why he wanted in again and wants out again. @#$%$

The fellow from the paving company who is supposed to come with sample pavers I am to choose hasn’t shown up yet and I am getting antsy. We made the deal 12 days ago – where is he? I am starting to feel that they will be molasses getting this done.

Once the work starts (if it ever does) Max will be a real problem because it will be several days or more for him when he can’t go out there. I shudder.

The letter I wrote to MSNBC suggested, ever so gently, that the Right Wing’s exploitation of the marginalized brains that adore Sarah Palin know they are being played but don’t realize it’s not Obama and the Left who is playing them. These people have few resources to lift themselves out of poverty and the limited opportunities that being uneducated condemns them to – they need a scapegoat. Literacy proves you are unreliable (and black as well), so Obama is the devil.

MSNBC never responds to my brilliant analyses. I keep writing.
