If I Were God

I would make it so that, although we move through the different stages of life, when it is time to “die”, we are healthy, just moving on. Say there is an arbitrary age when we go to the next level – 85 or so, for instance. We are not sick, nor in pain, we just lie down and leave our bodies. Our loved ones get to talk with us every year on our birthday and we get to tell them how much fun we are having in the astral sphere in our little cloudy cottage where we sip mist in little demitasse cups now and again (there is no structured time in the hereafter I am guessing) and trade dialogue with the great minds of the past.

All this mishmash going on now about health care would no longer be relevant because none of us would need it. Or I could make it that the only people who suffered pain in the world would be the sickos. All those with deadly, evil thoughts towards others, such as the terrorists, would instantly be struck with debilitating pain, in the scrotum, perhaps (I have to work on this), or the equivalent in a woman. Don’t ask me what that is. What am I, an anatomist? The pain would be so bad that none could act out their evil intent. They'd be crawling toward the doom button, but would never make it. As this “aversion therapy” took effect, they would develop a benign affect and the pain would leave them, to return only if they regressed. I am telling you, I don’t think God’s plan is anywhere near as brilliant as mine, or, for that matter, as loving and generous.

Anyone want to sign up for my universe?

xx, Teal
