So, since I am currently not working, I am trying to clean up some junk (I tend to be a pack rat of sorts) and in doing so, I came across some advice I had given to a friend. I remember thinking I better print this out because, well...I have moments where words just flow and they fit together nicely....ANYHOO, I decided to post this advice I had given as my first entry because I want there to be something here while I think of more things to write. I think it's pretty darn good advice. You will see it is based on what "I know" and what I've learned and sometimes even I need to be reminded of it:

I know that life can change direction in a split second and you kind of just have to go along for the ride. Sometimes the journey will seem too rough to handle, but if you pray you WILL be lead to a great place. I know that sometimes you have to remove yourself from a situation in order to gain a new perspective and determine if it is really right for YOU. If you find a place where your spirit feels renewed, your body and mind will soon follow...go there often. Sometimes people have to do a lot of work on themselves before they can share their life with someone else. Surround yourself with things that make YOU happy and don't try to be someone you are not just to please others. Above all else...have FAITH.
