Perspective 20080925

Our Shorinji Kempo instructor (sensei) has been out this week, so the senior student has been teaching. They have different styles. The sensei refers to everything as simple stuff, which makes me feel like an idiot when I can't get it right. The senior student says I'm doing fine for my level, and understands that I'm still working on the fundamentals. Because of that, sensei's classes are frustrating because it seems like I'm not getting it.

Well from what I've read these practices were taught from the fathers to the sons, so they have the DNA, plus the daily 'teacher' parent. And I think they must have had daily practice. So in light of all of that you are more then likely doing very well in the time you've been learning.

Practice/patience...seems like.
I know position is so important, from my own at home classes in yoga and Chi Kung.
