I looked up the golf one, because it didn't make sense with how old the sport is. According to the wiki page, golf probably came from the Scottish gouf or goulf and that may have come from the Dutch word kolf.
I was curious.
It doesn't sound strange. I've never smoked, but can understand what it's like. My father in law went through it all after more years than you.

This week I saw a guy talking with a handsfree phone, while eating an apple, while driving.
Some of those were very good
I like it light in the morning too, and these days its dark. Trade one for the other.
When we make cookies or other sweets, I cut the recipe way down because our daughter has this out-sight-out-of-mind point of view about them, but WE remember there are cookies in the cookie jar. They don't call that loudly to me though, which is good.
