Unsure of What Saturday Will Bring
I'm trying not to think too much on my upcoming date night with Thom. I haven't a clue what speech he is preparing for me at dinner. Should be interesting though. He even randomly texted me last night to "sleep well." I asked if he's feeling better and he texts back that he is and looking forward to seeing me.
Still trying not to think too much on it.
Right now I'm trying to focus all my energy on healing. I went ahead and registered for the San Francisco Half Marathon in July. I will be raising money for a youth running program. Once I raise $250 I will be refunded my registration fee. I also in the spirit of healing, bought a new running skirt and top to inspire my Achilles to hurry up already. LOL
I have an appointment tomorrow to get a free Sports Injury Evaluation from a physical therapy facility that specializes in Runners and Cyclists. I'm anxious to hear what they have to say. I'm more than ready to get back to running, biking, etc. Taking the elevator at work sucks.
At least the cold from hell seems to have dissipated. Making the upcoming weekend more pleasant. Looking forward to Easter brunch even though I won't be able to hike afterwards. I'm still very sad about that, but what can I do? I certainly don't want to set my recovery back for one hike.
