Week 2 started with a stumble over the weekend. I went to the reservoir but only got in a mile run because I needed a restroom. It's kinda hard to run when you've got to go. Today I learned there's one by the basketball courts. Very useful information that I hope to use next time I'm there. LOL
Last night's run was successful. I ran 2.5 miles, walked a quarter mile and then ran just over a mile. I was winded and the cold air made my weak lungs hurt but even that's getting a little better.
6.2 miles still feels very daunting but I'm hanging on to a small ray of hope. Nothing I have accomplished in the last year has been easy... so why should this be any different? I just have to stick with it and keep trying.
Plus I've got about twelve donors to my charity 10K that I can't let down.
