I consider this a very good start for my training for the 10k in August. I have 14 weeks to train and my training schedule is 12 weeks starting with a 2 mile run on day 1.

My thighs and my shoulders are super sore from running. Perhaps the running will finally help my arms drop an inch as they haven't budged since before Thanksgiving. I know, genetics sucks.
I also took a spin class last night, yes, I'm certifiably crazy and a true workout-a-holic, but I still need to spin. Since my legs are still sore, I need to come up with a new workout schedule that will work in my 10k training schedule. I'm gonna have to drop some things to make sure I'm not overworking my body.
Plus I need to make time to run with my team mates around the city of angels. I'm so very excited about this 10k!
P.S. I wanted to add that this week I bought size 6 jeans at the Gap. This time last year I was stretching out size 16s.
