Lil Sis and Valentines
Did I mention that my lil sis was flying into LA this Valentine's Weekend with her BF?
Well, she's landing at any minute and hopefully I will take all of Friday off and President's Day as well. Work is really sucking the big one right now and I've been working through lunch and past 6pm on a few nights because there used to be another person to help with the workload... missing my Hawkwoman this week. There's a lot of things that magically only I can accomplish. Job security? Feels like handcuffs right now.
I sent an email to my co-workers giving them the opportunity to give me their "List of Demands" today so I can have Friday and Monday off to be with my family... because family is more important than work to me.
I'm really looking forward to spending time with lil sis and her man, Dan. I told Thom the only thing I want for V-day is for him to go on a double date. We're still putting all the plans into place. It's gonna be a great weekend!
