Hitting a Lull
I went to the doctor last week and the results came in Sunday, got a normal pap (YAY!) but my thyroid levels were way off.
So we've dropped my thyroid hormone dose! YAY! This is good in the long run but the short run is kickin' my ass. Changing hormone levels is rough.
Your thyroid controls your moods, your energy, your metabolism, your body temperatures and more. So needless to say I'm rollercoastering through all of these to each extreme. I've been lingering on low energy for more than 24 hours. I hit the snooze button 6 times this morning and I'm bloated like no-body's business.
I'm hoping to equalize by this weekend. Thom and I are going camping with lots and lots of our friends some of whom are DJs. So it's a camping party. We're wearing costumes and dressing up for a birthday dinner. The weekend should be a blast! I just hope to have my energy back so I don't sleep through it.
Last Saturday I put on my bikini top with shorts and thought I looked pretty good. Not so much at the moment. I have some fun things to wear over the weekend and hope to look good in them too. I've been working hard over the last few weeks to drop the extra pounds... not to replace them with water weight. LOL!
Crossing fingers that Friday, I will wake up a new woman.
