Trump Folds Up--schwarzenegger Fesses Up!

Well!  Martin was right!  Now that Donald Trump's "Celebrity Apprentice" has been picked up for another season, he conveniently has announced that he is NOT running for President.
But, he milked it for all it was worth, managing to hit all the talk shows along the way, all the time doing exactly what he intended....building ratings for his show.
By the way, I just read where one of the contestants from last year's Miss America Universe had been charged with fraud.  That's another quality product The Donald brings us every year.
In other entertainment news, Arnold Schwarzenegger dropped a bombshell, admitting that he fathered a child with a member of the "household help" some ten years ago.
Seems he has managed to keep this under wraps until now.  Says he told Maria after he left the governor's office.  Evidently the "National Enquirer" must have been about to break the story. Isn't that about the only time men admit to anything if they can possibly help it?  Guess we know now why Maria took a powder.
Like all philanderers, Arnold is singing the "I still love her..." lament. Now, where have I heard that before?  Aside from in my own living room, Tiger and John Edwards pop immediately to mind.
Lest we put all the blame on the men, women cheat too.  I just came across a really fascinating article about Winston Churchill's mother, who supposedly had over 200 lovers....now, that's excess by anyone's standard.
I'm not even sure Tiger could top that!!

Today when I stopped in at Susan, my tailor friend, she had a customer who works in a key position in Florida for Donald Trump. She asked him if he was sorry Donald had withdrawn from the presidential race and he said it had been 90 percent promotion. Personally, I think once the Donald got what seemed to him, front runner position, that the whole idea went to his head, and then he started getting criticism and retreated to his original intent. As for Arnold, attractive, prominent people, both men and women, are faced with many more temptations than many of us. They often give in. It's human nature. I tend to not be judgmental. In the case of Edwards, yes, because she was ill. Same for McCain, who abandoned his wife after a car accident disfigured her, for his current wife, younger, richer, and not "ruined". You stand by those who need you. I find someone like Trump far more offensive in every way, than someone like Arnold.

I wonder how old Arnold's child is by now. I hope he continues to support it. He not only hurt Maria, he hurt his children and his mistress.
Donald Trump..gag!

I read today that he was 14. Maria was pregnant with their youngest child the same time this woman was pregnant. Here's the crazy part. The woman was married and claimed it was her husband's child at the time it was born. She continued to work for them until recently when she got her 20 years in and retired with severance pay. They both make me gag.

I think Trump is an utter egocentric, self-aggrandizing jerk.
Arnold deserves all of the media's slash-and-burn. What a low-life.
But my heart goes out to Maria. She is a total class act. Bless her and her children.

Trump makes me sick to my stomach and Arnold too. Maria is a class act. She deserved a whole lot better than she got.

I really think we should leave Maria & Arnold alone--she and the children certainly don't need the spotlight on them right now--besides most Presidents and Governors, not to forget politicians, cheat and in spite of the 'moralists' did their job.
I'd say something like in my youth I was with 200 lovers a month but that would be tacky and Arnold gets that title today!

Arnold made a plea for the press to leave his family alone. He said that he deserved their criticism, but that Maria and the children didn't. Doubt it will do any good. The tabloid press has no scruples.

So do I, having gone through it twice in my life. Believe me, it's no fun. I feel for Maria. I know what she's feeling.

I'm sorry to see Arnold and Maria break up, they were a cute couple back in the day.

Yes, they were. I hate it also.

I saw Trumps many "triumphant" speeches he made claiming his magnificent achievement at getting Pres Obama to finally show his birth certificate on Anderson Cooper's Ridiculist segment.... The man is an idiot and a big fat joke....pity he's not going through with his run for presidency, it would have been a triumphant defeat..

He is an idiot! Yes, I would have loved to see him get stomped. But he knew it too. It was all just one of his demented ways of keeping his name in the news. The man is also an egomaniac.
