Okay!  Here's my question.  If you were living with a beautiful princess who loved you and had agreed to marry you,  would you risk it all for a one-night stand?

 

Madeleine Therese Amelie Josephine -- the Princess of Sweden, Duchess of Halsingland and Gastrikland -- is the youngest child of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia.

Not if you had any sense, right?  Well, I guess we would have to say  then that Attorney Jonas Bergstrom of Stockholm, with whom the princess had an eight-year-relationship,  has no sense, because that's exactly what he did.  Now, I ask you?  WHO CHEATS ON THE KING'S DAUGHTER????

The woman in question, whom he met on the ski slopes went straight to the tabloids with the story. 

Two days later, the princess removed her engagement ring and caught a flight to New York City, where the royal court announced she would  continue her work there  with the World Childhood Foundation, one of her mother's charities.

However, she returned briefly two months later  for her sister's wedding to her longtime boyfriend.

Crown Princess Victoria enters the church on the arm of her father, King Carl Gustaf. She broke with Swedish tradition by having her father escort her down the aisle on her wedding day, which was also the 39th anniversary of her parent's wedding.  Swedish brides normally walk alone down the aisle.
Eat your heart out, Mr.  Jonas Bergstrom.  You could have been next.
