Moving Day is upon Holly and Bevan. They did not quite finish but they are finished enough that the rest can be done after they move. The movers will be at their home Thursday; then they have two days to get a cleaning crew in to clean the house where they are living before they pass the keys on to the new family.
It is SO hot this week. Summer has arrived with a vengeance. It's 104 and expected to reach 106 before the day is out. The rest of the week is the same with no rain in sight for this week or next. This is the first time this year of 100 plus temperatures. Still better than last summer.
I have to go over to Holly's house in a bit on an errand. I am going to see if the kids want to come back to swim. Our pool is finished and open again. It looks about the same to me with the exception that we now have an outdoor kitchen.Â
They put new decking around it; but it is so similar to the old that it had little impact on the over-all effect. It's a lovely pool though with two fountains.Â
I really shouldn't be going anywhere. I have been gathering up stuff to give to the Salvation Army, and I have a mess right now. It was either that or sign up to be featured on the hoarder's reality show. Well, actually, it wasn't quite that bad; but every closet and every storage area was bursting at the seams.  I have three huge boxes filled, and I probably could have easily filled three more if I could have talked myself into getting rid of still yet more "sentimental" junk,.
