Pippa Middleton, Kate's gorgeous younger sister, almost stole the show from her beautiful sibling yesterday. Eyes popped as the maid of honor entered behind Kate wearing a slim, white gown that mirrored some of the features of her sister's wedding gown.Â
(White is often used for bridesmaids in royal weddings. Grace Kelly's sister, who served as her maid of honor also wore white). Kate Burton, who designed Kate's gown, also made Pippa's, which featured a daring plunging neckline as did Kate's, though not as much, as well as the same button features down the back. Among those casting an appreciative eye toward Pippa was none other than Prince Harry.

But poor Princess Royal Anne. The woman just missed out in both looks and fashion sense. I would have reversed this outift with the jacket solid and the dress plaid. It's too much.
Victoria Beckham, expecting her fourth child...finally a girl after three boys...wore one of her own creations. (She now has an upscale clothing line).  I don't care for the hat.  It detracts from the rest of her outfit. But check out those shoes! And I wish the woman would SMILE occasionally. Her husband, David, respendent in a morning coat and top hat, is enjoying the moment. Victoria, I'm not so sure about.Â
Prince Albert of Monacco arrived with his longtime fiance, Charlene Whitstock. They will finally wed this summer. Ms. Whitstock is a former Olympic swimmer. She always displays impeccible taste, here dressed in a  simple morning coat and dress with a hat that does not detract from her outfit.
Zara Phillips, Princess Anne's only daughter, arrived with her fiance, Mike Tindall, a rugby player. They also will wed in July of this year.
Now! Here's someone else who got it right! You may not recognize this Princess. However, before she married the Prince of Windsor in 2009,, the son of the Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, she was a well-known British television actress. I love the understated look of the navy with the hat serving as the daring perfect counterbalance.
Remember Diana's brother, now an Earl, who spoke at her funeral? Well, here are his three lovely daughters, all wearing Fascinators, the trend actually started by Kate Middleton of wearing hats featuring feathers or butterflies. I like these better than Beatrix and Eugenie's. But then they are prettier girls. That might have something to do with it also.
