DD#1 is so sentimental that she cries at anything sad or nostalgic. When Grandson entered kindergarten, she cried; when Grandson "graduated" from elementary school, she cried. When Grandson finished middle school, she cried. When she watches a sad movie, she cries.
Since she has been divorced from Grandson's father, who lives in another state and is unemployed more than he is employed, she has reared him alone. The two are exceptionally close; but I must admit that he might need just a LITTLE more male testosterone in his life.
She said that this morning as she was driving him to school she remarked that she thought she would get out the video of his first day of kindergarten to re-watch it.
"DON'T!! Mom! You'll just get all emotional and start crying like you always do; and then you know what will happen!"
"No, I don't! What will happen?"
"Well, you'll start your period; then you won't just be crying, you'll be grouchy too." he declared!
