We are going to Holly and Bevan's country club for Easter brunch.  Given that it is Easter and where we are going,  I thought I should dress up a bit more than for a typical Sunday brunch at Golden Corrall.

There's just one problem!  You have heard of the "Freshman Fifteen".  Well I am suffering from the "Over The Hill Fifteen."  Since my normal outfit consists of shorts and a top pretty much year round, I have neglected my "dress-up wardrobe" since I retired.

Trying to find something I can still wear this morning has convinced me I really, really need to go shopping or to the gym!  Since I don't want to spend a bunch of money on clothes I would rarely put on, I guess it's the gym!

I'm like Dolly Parton in Sweet Magnolias....these hips can't and won't leave this house without lycra on them...and that includes the waist and the torso as well.  It is either that or wear my shorts...darn, getting old is the pits.
