Many of the suburbs of Dallas are in chaos today after furious storms moved through between 2 and 4 today. Tornadoes were touching down everywhere.
One passed just a mile east of where I live. These storms have now moved on with points east of Dallas still in jeopardy.
The storms hit several suburbs of Dallas, among the most severe being in Arlington, Lancaster and Forney. The newscastor right now is stating that there have been at least five super cells that produced a plethora of tornadoes and at least ten cities have sustained damage.
110 planes were also damaged at DFW and officials cancelled all flights for today. Many flights diverted to other airports. Every plane will have to be inspected before those planes can fly again. According to one source, it takes about 2 to 3 hours to inspect them.
So, DFW will be running on limited capacity for several days.
There have been injuries but no fatalities have been confirmed. Some are in the hospital in critical condition.Â
