Working in the deaf community you see all kinds of weird reactions to the whole hard of hearing/deaf thing. People will try to talk louder to make themselves heard...not always going to work...a lot of times it makes it worse. I use ASL in everyday life and find it invaluable and think everyone should learn. I use it snorkeling, hiking, at work, at home, when I want to secretly tell my honey something without others knowing, when I want to talk across the room...etc. People really just need to learn to enunciate, talk a tad slower & make sure to make eye contact!
I love history...it's always interesting to know others were here before us...what did they look like, who where they...that's the fascinating part for me!

I think we are affecting our climate and destroying our world. I think there is a natural cycle but we are throwing it out of whack quicker than ever before.
Will have to take ours in soon...the video card is acting up...plus it needs to be cleaned!
