How much would you pay to have someone craft a letter for you?
I am thinking of this venture b/c many of my friends have told me over the years that they enjoy mine.
-All my designs are on high-end stationery
-I am a believer in brevity (stating something succinctly)
-My penmanship is calligraphic + printing is architectural
It is cathartic to write an encouragement to someone who has undergone loss or experienced tragedy. One has to be a wordsmith and have the ability to keep it (the message) real.
Below are images of two of my high-end greeting cards.
This first one has no sentiment, 3 watercolored vases w/flowers, a silk flower hanging from embroidery floss:

This second card reads: How beautiful the open door, the outstretched hand, the generous heart...thank you. (I've used this for hospitality thank yous). It's a colored-pencil nest w/3 eggs on a few branches. There are 2 guinea hen feathers suspended on wax string.

Here is the interior. I use coordinating stationery papers for the inside and envelope. There is a cut-out for your business or calling card.

Also have a post card collection dating back to 1906, many have written messages on back, I have so many from this one collection..because I started to try to file by dates of her adventure in traveling around the world.... but alas I need an assistant.
Good luck with you hand written adventure.
