We learned the first 1/4 of the song. Since hubs doesn't read notes, he had to memorize the beats. It was the opposite for me.
The class has 8 students, so we set up four drums and alternated. Last week, we used 8 drums, and repositioning them after class took too long.
3 people dropped out from last week's class and 3 new joined tonight, so it worked out just right.
Found out that our instructor won a Grammy in 2007 for a song he played with Paul Winter involving taiko drumming.
This is one surefire way to get any frustrations out! ;0)
