I revised a recipe I found on the internet today, and I thought I would share, because it turned out so well! I'll make this pretty regularly:
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
2 small shallots sliced
1 bag shredded cabbage for cole slaw
1 large can (15 oz size) diced tomatoes
1 can (8 oz size) tomato sauce
1 cinnamon stick
pinch of allspice (ground)
salt and pepper to taste
2 cups hot cooked rice (optional)
Directions:
Brown ground beef with shallots; transfer to Crock Pot. Add cabbage. Mix tomatoes, sauce, and seasonings; pour over all. Cover and cook on low 2 hours. Serve over the rice or mix together.
I did not even use rice, but it would be incredible with brown rice. The flavor was very different, and it is such an easy, awesome comfort food!
First Impressions.. "Yea.. smoking Hot". Please don't take the "statement as offensive".. I say that to "all the hotties". It's my way of breaking the ice. My girlfriend is in the other room, changing the baby.. so it's not a "flirt.." (sure not official).. (Believe or not.. some wems would think that was BAD.. no she knows me)...
Taking a guess... prob, most others on here know me, or chat sometimes.. (with me).
Harmless and here.. Im whenever... Consider myself a "good cook" but could use more "recipies"....
