I have been up since 6 a.m and feel pretty good for an old gal, who has trouble walking. Took my dogs out and it is still not cold here. We have been promised a cooler, rainy, next 7 to 10 days. I will try to enjoy every day, no matter what the weather brings.
Have my Tens machine on my legs, so maybe I can walk better today. Can't really understand what happened to my legs, The doctor said I over compensated trying to keep from hurting the right one and made both hurt. Just hope they soon realize that I need them to stop hurting.
My dear sister fell in her bathroom last night and it took us nearly an hour to get her up. She won't let me call anyone and I don't dare do too much lifting. I finally got her leg on her bed and she struggled in. Today, she will be so sore that she can't walk. I will try to get her to use her wheel chair for long trips. Don't know how much longer she can stay with me, if she keeps falling like that. I will be most sad to see her move to Assisted living and have begged her to wait until we can go together.
Just now, I enjoy my home too much to leave it. Know that I can't stay here forever though.
Have been thinking of my "spring plantings". I want to plant a lot of bulbs in my yard again. Don't know if the Tulips will come up or not. The squirrels may have made a dinner or two of them. We have a lot of them out here. I have one that drives my dogs crazy in the back yard. He climbs the patio posts and stays just out of their reach.
I went into Marshal's one day this week and there sat my brand of shoes - only one pair - my size and on clearance. I like the Anzio something brand, made in Brazil, that are pretty costly. But there it was for only $15.00. I am a lucky woman. I wear an 8 slender, but will jump at an 8N, if it is there. Ha!!
One of my grandsons and wife gave me a cute pair of flats for Xmas. Now, I just need to go somewhere to wear them.
Have a good week-end, Ya'll. Nena
