I haven't felt like "blogging" lately. Seems, I don't settle down to doing anything of value. I am still in a wheel chair, don't feel I have the balance to use the Crutches. I am afraid I will topple over and re-crush the ankle. So, by choice I will be rolling around for a long while.

Have had my old decks taken up and new concrete patios replacing them. They were poured yesterday and are in the process of drying to the color I like. Then, they will be sealed and I can have a big party. You are all invited. They roof will be a new clear product that is pretty awesome. It filters out the UV rays and only lets in the light. It will be very nice when all is finished. My poor dogs have been so upset while they have been working out there.

Thanksgiving will soon be here and I have so much to be thankful for. I could have broken a leg instead of just both sides of the ankle. My family is so blessed.

Son John, is in Sweden this week trying to lock down a 5 years contract with the company over there that builds air-plane parts. He is retiring on December 31st of this year. Is pretty happy about it. He was 62 in October.

I tried to get all to skip Thanksgiving dinner this year, but son Bob and wife insist on coming and bringing the dinner and all the trimmings. ( I told them they were not welcome at my house -but even that didn't work.)Ha!!
