Awoke to a beautiful day. But hope it rains today. My poor front lawn looks bad. I must have a disease of somekind in it. I have water pretty faithfully, but it is still dying.
Had a good day yesterday. Good messages from the Bible at services, plus a visit from son, John. He is a busy person these days. Just got home from a trip to Germany and now is getting ready for a vacation in Hawaii. He and his family go Maui pretty often and rent a condo on the beach. They have to fly over and then get another plane to their site.
I need a vacation so bad, but just can't leave my little sister here alone. Don't tell her I said that, she would be offended. She thinks she is independant, but I would hate to come home and find her on the floor. Maybe, God put me on this earth to take care of my dear husband and her. I tried to the end with him, but finally had to give up.
One of the ladies who attends the church I go to , told me last night that she was going home to someplace in Africa for a visit. It has been 26 years since she has been home and 8 years since she saw her mother. Her name is Nena, like me. When I welcomed her is said I am Nena **** and she replied I am Nena ****.
Take care all you bloggers and stay in out of the heat. It is getting pretty warm here in Houston. Nena
