It's hot here already - but I don't mind it. Have already sat outside and got some vitamin D. Should be called vitamin S for sunshine.

Need to go to the store today as we ate our last banana this morning for breakfast. I hate to dress, but will later on.

My poor yardman came yesterday and said he didn't need to mow as my yard was nearly dead. He did make it look better and planted a nice Jasmin vine for me. It is already blooming and smells so good. He put it near where I sit on the deck. Then I watered. It started to rain, but I just let the hoses go, as I knew it wouldn't rain long. We could use some of the water the middle of the country is getting.

Saw where it snowed in Washington state. NOw that's something here in the middle of the year. I have a friend who lives in Bellingham. Don't know if she got some or not.

My dear sister can hardly walk today and we are still having difficulty getting her a wheel chair. Seems the doctor has not sent all the needed info. Didn't know they were so particular.

My son leaves for Germany Thursday so see his daughter and grand children. He is also going to Sweden to see Dolly Parton. Can you beat that!!! He has always said he wanted to see her and it seems she is in Europe for most of her concerts this year. I hope it is worth the trip. Ha!!

Son John goes to Germany on business on the 19th. I told him he could wave at his brother as they passed each other.
