Have a new great grand son - Salvador Xavier Tanadoreo - 8 lbs. 14 ozs. 22 inches TALL. He is beautiful - just ask great grandma. Ha!! Both Mom, baby and Dad are doing well.

Lost two icons yesterday. Poor Michael Jackson, with all his hang-ups. He never had a normal life as a child nor probably as an adult. When I look at his pics as a young, innocent child and later as a strange adult, my heart aches for him. I remember when he and his brothers first appeared on TV. They were pretty awesome - but Dad, Joe, had bucks in his eyes and groomed them all for stardom. Now, he can live with the results of that.

I slept in today - wouldn't get up when my Lucy, tapped me on the shoulder. Just made her get under the cover. Now, half of my morning is gone.

Have done most of my "work " for the day, made my bed, made breakfast and cleaned the table. Now for my fun work - internet work.

I let the phone company convince me they were cutting my bill last month - imagine my surprise, when I got a bill for $105. yesterday. They had gone back 4 years and drug up a bill, that I can no longer prove - have done away with the checks, but since I always pay my bills the very day they arrive, I know I paid it. So, they took all that away and left me with $79 something. MY old bill was $43, so they really didn't do me any favors. So, I canceled one of my lines and went back to the bare bones bill I had before they did me all those favors. Ha!!! I don't even have long distance. Use my cell phone to call all the people in the state I talk too. And let the ones out of state, call me.

It was 102 degrees here yesterday - thank goodness for a good ac.
