Good gosh... I guess it's easy to see how these folks get themselves into these messes in the first place. They don't learn from their mistakes. It just leaves me shaking my head. The other day my poor mom was so proud to have been approved for a credit card... but it's the kind you have to put a security deposit down first, and then based on what you pay upfront, that's your credit line. I guess it's a way of rebuilding credit. I explained this to her, and she said, "Oh, well I won't have any extra money to put towards a deposit for a couple months. I have to get on top of my other bills first." I told her that's probably a good indication of why she should NOT get a credit card. Still, something tells me she'll be charging up a storm in a couple months... *sigh*It's hard to watch.
"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain!" Great line!
Wishing you a quick recovery!
Wow! That's unbelievable! Great story! Of course, it's too bad she couldn't have warned you about the car tire beforehand. A friend of mine's front tire fell OFF while driving down a major highway last week. Despite the sparks and serious danger, she managed to merge across all the lanes and pull over safely. Later on, she n' her sister agreed they must've had angels looking after them... to which she added, "I just wish my guardian angel was a little more proactive and had tightened the bolts."
Wow... it's amazing what an activity like that can do for your confidence.
Oh man! The characters you meet at your job!! You could write a book... or at least a very entertaining blog.
Way to go... now I'm sitting here at my desk with tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat. What a beautiful story of love!
My thoughts are with you and your family. My sister is going through the same thing with my little niece right now. It's heart-breaking.
Beautiful post.
Sometimes it's just easier to go to the grocery store yourself. I asked J to pick up dill weed and he got me dill seed. It seems that no matter what I ask him for he either somehow messes up, or he's calling me a million times asking for directions on where in the store he can find it, what it looks like, etc...
So cute about the 5 year old keeping you in line! Can you send Kota over to my place to vacuum? That's the one job I hate...
What a totally bizarro dream! Love the description of your little sweet pea.
