Man, a list like that is enough chores for one day! I hope you find the time to make crafts, laminate schedules, create cool t-shirts, and get your pedicure. You really did say that like an ol' pro.
I hope you have a wonderful vacation... and that your knee gets feeling better.
YAY! Fabulous story! *applause*
You are going to be a wonderful mom!
That's a very thoughtful gesture. It's beautiful how a virtual community of people who have never met and who may never meet, can be so much more supportive than those among us found in 'real life'.
That's so sad. For him to be only in his early 70's and to look sooo old, I wonder if his wife had something to do with his advanced aging... refusing him of all his simple pleasures in life.
Cool idea. I don't think I have any pictures of my tattoo? Then again, it's not like it's going anywhere anytime soon... I can always take a picture of it.
Great post! I suppose if there is any thin silver lining to this awful BS, it's that while people are working to protect their pocketbooks by making more of an effort to drive less, buy locally, and reduce their energy consumption, their actions are also helping to protect Mother Earth. But yeah... it's too bad it has to happen out of sheer necessity than by choice.
That was beautifully written. I love how you give personality to the Pond and the Sun, and capitalize their names like characters in the story. I look forward to reading more.
YAY! Good guess.
Thanks for sharing this engaging story. I sure makes an amazing read. It's so interesting to see what life experiences shape each individual to make them the people they are today.
Looking forward to part two, and three, and four.
A play date for pups... that's so cute!
Sounds like an awesome time!!
There is an intersection in Vancouver that has a Starbucks on three corners, with a fourth Starbucks just down the street. (Guess that fourth corner couldn't be bought.) I can't say I've ever seen such a thing with any other franchise. I wonder if they'll close any of them? Not that I live in Vancouver, but when I visit and have walked by, they always seem busy.
