Hi, Kevin!

I, too, would love to hear you play, especially a piece that you dearly love. Do you have a piece that you adore to play and/or to listen to?

My brother has our Dad's slide collection. Time for my sibs and I to start scanning!

Just listened to Alma's performance of the Mozart piano concerto K. 246! What a delight! I then subscribed to her YouTube channel. Such a vibrant talent! Listen to the concerto at this link:

Best wishes for your beautiful redone kitchen! Like Teal, I know what you're going through, but may everything go as smoothly as possible.

This is so concerning, Laura, as I view the fire updates from afar. Please stay safe!

Jeri, I am giving your sweet, kind, generous heart the biggest hug!

OMG, do I sympathize! My frustration with my accumulated stuff peaked when it cam to packing to move to my condo two years ago. I had only one plan. If whatever I unearthed brought me joy, it was packed. If not, I sold it, or donated it, or gave it away, or into the dumpster it went. Packing and moving are nightmares for me anyway, and the amount of clutter can be astounding. But my joy technique did give me much needed perspective.

Dear T, so sad you had this experience! Yikes! May the drops alleviate all the stinging and your eyes feel very well very soon!

May those fires stay far away from you!

Excellent reminder! Readiness for a speedy exit in case of fire has been a habit of mine since I experienced my first fire in the apartment building I lived in long ago. I had my papers in ready reach, but the sounds of the alarms and sirens scared my two cats into hiding and I could not get them. The fire in the one apartment was put out, with no harm to my apartment or my cats. Never want to go through that again!

Now I'm wondering about making this pie with a gingersnap cookie crust.... Oh, be still, my heart!

Sending you healing hopes and hugs, dear Jeri. Feel better soon!

I hope you will choose to stay on Facebook. I will miss our interactions there. But if and when you do decide to leave, be sure to delete BOTH your personal accounts. I think the one you don't use is the one getting hacked. If you would just delete that one, I think it would solve your problems.

Yay for Eddie!

What a beautiful moose! No wonder you have visitors like her -- look how lush and green your area is!

These photos are treasures! One the website my paternal family created, there are several wonderful images like this of our grandparents at their small summer cottage on the Canadian edge of Lake Erie. Snapshots of their younger lives I delight in seeing, some 30-plus years before I was born.
