We're Back! and a Moose

Big Thanks to Eddie for fixing the glitch. Poor guy must have felt hounded - Jeremy left a phone message for him, I sent him a Friend Request on Facebook, and a message, and Dr. Maus contacted his internet host asking that they let him know there was a problem with this site.

I don't know if we'll ever know what worked, and maybe none of those.

But however we got here, hooray, we're back. And a big Thanks! to Eddie for generously providing this site for us.

A moose showed up here today. We don't see them very often.

Beautiful!!!
Turns out my message was left with an elderly gentleman who thought I was trying to gain control of his computer. He would not let me end the conversation when he called me back and grilled me about what I wanted. I tried to explain several times that I had dialed a wrong number, but he would have none of it!!

Sorry about that. Old people and computers. I had a woman check the box that she wanted emailed bills for the water assn I'm treasurer of, but she didn't provide an email address, so I called her. She insisted she didn't check the box, acted like your old guy - like I was trying to take over her computer and/or find out all her personal info.

Yay for Eddie!

What a beautiful moose! No wonder you have visitors like her -- look how lush and green your area is!

We are thinking this might be the infamous 'baby moose' that was around a couple of months ago. It was acting disoriented and frightened, and those of us who saw it then were sure that bears or mountain lions would eat it because it needed to be with other mooses in a pond, not here. It looks tons better now, if it is that same moose, and so that's the story we're telling ourselves - baby moose is okay.
