Now that my family room is ready for furniture I've been cruising Craigslist. I didn't want to have to travel very far so I've limited my search to the three or four towns that are closest to me. I've also had some very particular style, color, fabric type, and price requirements. A sofabed would be ideal!

I'm not quite ready for it, but I found one that met all my requirements so I called them up to see it. The lady at the other end of the phone was very nice, and very chatty. When she gave me the address I was especially pleased. Turns out she lives four doors down!

I went to see it, and bought it. While there we visited for quite a while. It was nice to find someone who seemed eager to just sit and shoot the breeze. I've felt that most of the people around here are just too busy for that. It's something I've been missing. I was even feeling kind of sorry for myself over it.

So, I'm very happy! Not only did I get the sofabed I wanted, but I made a new friend in the neighborhood!
